A strong connection between Grandparents and Grandchildren is very important, and should be protected. But unfortunately, it's not always easy to do. Sometimes the connection between Grands is not as strong as it once was because of where they live, or because of a family problem that is difficult to resolve.
Regardless of the reasons, it's heartbreaking when Grandparents and Grandchildren lose connection with one another. So we created the Forever Picture to help solve this problem.

The Forever Picture is a new activity designed to bring Grandparents and Grandchildren together, either in person, or on the phone. It helps them maintain a strong connection, lasts a lifetime, and is very inexpensive. One of the greatest things about the Forever Picture is that it can be used by EITHER the Grandparent or the Grandchild to strengthen their connection. Here's how:

If you are a Grandparent...
You can strengthen your connection with your Grandchildren by first creating your own Forever Picture. Then send it to them as a surprise gift. Your Grandchildren will be delighted to receive it, and will love reading it and sharing the information with others. Your Forever Picture will be the topic of conversation during phone calls and personal visits for many years to come, and be proudly displayed on the family picture wall.
If you are a Grandchild...
You can strengthen your connection with your Grandparents by helping them create their own Forever Picture. Just ask your Grandparents about their life, using the narrative questionnaire as an interview guide. You will both experience feelings of joy as you complete the interview. Then after you receive the completed Forever Picture, you can present it to them as a gift. It will be a wonderful memento of the occasion, and they will cherish it for many years .
